Hiddenite is a variety of Spodomene which is Rarer than it's Pink sibling Kunzite. Hiddenite is named after the American Gemologist William Hidden who in 1879 first discovered this transparent Green Variety in North Carolina in the area that now also bears that name, Hiddenite. Hiddenite is a rare and captivating Gemstone prized for it's stunning Green hue and unique properties. It occurs as Colourless to Yellowish, Purplish or Lilac Kunzite, or alternatively Yellowish Green or Emerald Green Hiddenite. It is Revered in Spiritual Practices as the Stone of Evolution. It is prized for it's ability to promote Emotional Healing, Relieve Anxiety, Release Emotional Pain, Dispel Negative Energy and foster a sense of Self Worth and Unconditional Love.
