Peanut Obsidian was discovered in the 1960's near Alamos, Mexico. Peanut Obsidian's distinct appearance comes from the Volcanic Eruption of Rhyolitic Lava. During the Rapid Cooling process, trapped Gas Bubbles formed Inclusions known as Spherulites, which are Radiating Crystals of Feldspar tinted by Hematite. Peanut Obsidian is Associated with Grounding, Protection from Negative Energies, Emotional Stability, Creativity and Personal Growth.
